Hi,

a neat article on multi site installs. But i have a unique issue. I need around 15 subdomains with almost different content. But need few common ones which can be created on any of the subdomains.

I think the need is kind of a common flexinode with a shared db_prefix. Or could there be any other way??

I think you'd put it in www.domainname.com.new_site.

Try that, and if it doesn't do the trick for you, read some of the comments near the top of includes/bootstrap.inc.

Hi! Thank you so much for this post - very helpful.
Question - how should I name the directory under sites/ if

-- my main Drupal site is at http://www.domainname.com
-- the new site I want to add to the existing installation should be at http://www.domainname.com/new_site

Would appreciate your response!

Thank you,
