What lovely sentiments. Lennie is a very special child - in a little different way than how all children are special and precious. She's so special and precious because of some of the things you addressed in your essay and in so many others. She is trully lovely, loving, lovable, bright, pretty, and a thousand other adjectives.

In my language, you and Mleeka, as well as all the others in Lennie's family (grands, aunts, etc) have been blessed in an extraordinary way. Similar to how your mother and I were blessed with you. In your expression, you would probably say you were fortunate. In either case - it's a wonderful thing.

Mom and I have commented often about the dividends that are adding up from the investment of yourselves you and Mleeka are making in Lennie's development and life. Much of what she is becoming is due to the love and selflessness each of you are giving her.

We are proud of Lennie. We continue to be proud of you and Mleeka. Love....
