The reason I attended the Knoxville Writer's Guild was for the monthly poetry meeting, and a goal of one poem per month. I couldn't do one per day. Every word, hell every syllable, must be chosen for a reason if you want to have more than "something that rhymes" or "it's a poem because everything is poetry."
